20-Yard Dumpster Rental

Likely the most common dumpster rental we provide is the 20-yard option. It's the largest one in our fleet and often is ideal for bigger projects. If you are in need of a dumpster bin and don't know what size makes sense, we often recommend this one. The pricing is fair and people are usually surprised with how quickly the bin gets filled.

Dimensions of a 20-Yard Bin

Our standard 20-yard container is about 14 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 6 feet tall. All together, it can hold 20 cubic yards of material. That's about 6 full pickup trucks worth of junk.

Some other companies have different dimensions that can be shorter (but then they're usually wider). We chose this size so the dumpster can always fit in a standard driveway.

Is There A Weight Limit?

Yes we do have a weight limit for our 20-yard containers. Our maximum weight is 6,000 lbs. and there will be a charge for going over that weight. Typically, this weight is only hit with roofing companies. For reference, it's about one layer of shingles on a 2800 square foot house. 

What Cannot Be Thrown In The 20-Yard Container?

This can be a long list, but here's a few common items that we cannot accept in our dumpsters:

• Hazardous Waste
• Paint
• Batteries of any kind
• Appliances or electronics of any kind
• Tires
• Fluorescent Lights
